Hawaiian Hoary Bat

The Hawaiian bat is very common on the islands of Kaua'i and Hawaii, where they spend most of the day hanging on trees, either alone or in pairs. Hawaiian bats can be seen flying around at dusk in search of insects. The bats use radar to find food and make their way through the night. They are endangered.
