Toe Jurtle
Once there was a fat turtle. His name was Joe turtle. But everyone called him Toe Jurtle because he sucked on his toe at night. One day he heard a weird sound like turtle sucking his toe. Then he went to bed. He had a dream. It was about a toe chasing him and he was so scared. He went as fast as he could. But he only went ten feet. When he woke up he thought it was real. So he never sucked his toe again. If he ever did it again, a toe would chase him again.
The Mystery of the Red Tiger 1
Once upon a time there was a red tiger. His name was Wilber. He lived in the heart of the jungle of mysteries. When hunters came along Wilber turned into a man wearing a feathered cloak. Then he told the hunters to go to the stream and feast on fish. When the hunters left he turned into himself. He ate only dead animals. Wilber loved to play hide and go seek with his three best friends Wilbert, Koa’a’leao, and Woodrow. Koa’a’leao always hid in the tree house. One day when they were playing some hunters came along. Wilber did not see them because they were wearing camouflage clothes. They had net guns. They aimed at Wilber and fired.
They put him in their trailer. ‘’Let’s set up camp’’, one said. They loaded in their truck and drove to stream. When the hunters set up camp, they got their shotguns and went for meat. But one stayed and guarded Wilber so he wouldn't escape. Meantime the two hunters that had left got lost. They called the hunter who stayed behind and told him to take Wilber to the gulch. So he took Wilber to the gulch. In this gulch there is poison that will make you tell us why you are red. When they got to the gulch the hunter forced Wilber to stand on the edge of the gulch. Just as the hunter was going to push him into the gulch Wilbert,Woodrow and Koa’a’leo came running out of the bushes and they untied the ropes around Wilber and tied the hunter. ’That was a close one’, said Wilber. When they got back to the Jungle of Mysteries they played hide and go seek. They all lived mysteriously ever after.
The Lucky Chameleon
In the amazing Nature Center of Maui, there lived a pet chameleon. One day,the chameleon said to himself, I want to go out and explore the world. So he left the Nature Center. As he was traveling, he saw a handsome dog running toward him. The chameleon looked and said, I wish I could have longer legs so I can run fast like a dog and I can find food more easily if I live as a pet. Then something amazing happened, a flash of sunlight hit the chameleon’s legs and the short chameleon’s legs turned into big long skinny dog legs. The chameleon felt really lucky to have his wish come true. Then he kept on traveling until he saw a beautiful web made by a garden spider. He closed his eyes and said his wish, I wish I could have a tiny body like a spider so I can hide from enemies and I can spin cool webs when I want to. Then to flashes of sunlight hit the chameleon’s body and the the body became a tiny round spider body. Then he kept on traveling. Then he saw a beautiful dragon up in the sky. He said he wished he had horns like a dragon and feathers like a dragon. Then three flashes of sunlight hit the chameleon’s body and his wish was granted. But when he saw how ugly he was in the water, he wished to be himself again. Then four flashes of sunlight hit the chameleon’s whole body and he turned back to a normal chameleon. Then he returned back to the Nature Center to live with his owner and he liked being himself.
Once upon a time there was a brown bear. Now this brown bear wasn’t just any brown bear. He was the king bear! So one day he said since I’m the king I can have anything I want. So I wish, wish, wish, that everything I touched turned in to honey. And then ZIP ZAP! He had his powers that everything he touched turned in to honey But he didn’t know that. Then he went to see his cub and gave him a huge bear hug and POOF he turned into honey! Then the big, brown bear discovered his powers. He touched everything in the Palace and it turned into sticky, gooey, yummy honey and he got very, very fat. But even worse nothing and nobody was left and he was all alone. And did I mention he was very, very fat? Then he said I wish that every thing I touched turned into honey, even the stuff in my tummy, turned back to normal. Then POOF every thing turned back to normal and and every body was happy and they lived honeyling ever after.
