Sometimes only the Chief's rode the boards and the people body board. For all of the villagers, this is a fun event to watch. The main part for the Hawaiians is to have fun.

Description: Canoe racing was simple and easy to play. But it takes hard work. The object of the game is get in a canoe, go out to a certain point and race back to shore. To play you need light canoes and paddles and a little bit of upper body strength. The first person to get back to shore wins!

Description of game:
The object of the game is to slide down a grass slope and whoever slides the furthest wins. When people slide down a slope they hold on to the handle.Things you need is a sled made out of wood that is about twelve feet long and about six to eight inches wide. People usually slide on a bunch of ti leaves to make it more comfortable.
