Earth Day Definitions

Conserve -  to keep from harm or decay; keep from loss or from being used up;

We need to conserve our forest’s. We need to conserve our forest’s because if we don’t we will not have any more houses. We also won’t have any more animals or trees. We really need our trees because they make air and houses. You shouldn't just Conserve on Earth Day. You should Conserve every day.

EARTH

Also, Earth. the planet on which we live; the globe. The earth is the fifth largest planet in the solar system, and the third in distance from the sun.

ENERGY

Energy is a part of nature . If we did not have any energy we would not have light,heat,or electricity. Energy is very important to the world. I think energy means a lot to the world because those who are sick or have cancer can’t go to a hospital because there is no electricity. Since I live on Maui I should use the energy of the wind . It also is important because the people who heat will not have it.

OCEANS

The oceans are important because it is part of the earth. The ocean is the great body of water that covers nearly 71 percent of Earth's surface. People also call it the sea. The ocean contains 97 percent of all the water on Earth. And ocean is a beautiful part of a earth. And we need to stop puting trash in the ocean. And if you don’t then the ocean is going to disappear. The ocean is important. And you should save the ocean. And I love ocean because it is beautiful and it has lots of fish.
