Thomas Edison was born February 11 1847, he died October 18 1931 . His mother taught him he was always thankful for his education. My favorite invention of Edison's is the light bulb and the phonograph. He knew Alexander Graham Bell who was the man who invented the telephone in 1876. He once used a dictionary for a pillow. He almost died from scarlet fever. Tom was the first to ever say something in the phonograph, it worked. Once a young lady saw the phonograph worked she fainted!!! Before I knew the phonograph was Edison's favorite invention I thought it was the light bulb. The Western Union assigned him to make a better working telephone he found the problem and fixed it . This is what Edison said into the phonograph '' Mary had a little lamb its flees was white as snow every where that Mary went the lamb was sure to go". The inventor inventing.
