The Compute-A-Thon was held in early October. During the Compute - A - Thon, each of our 37 classes came into our computer lab and did a project with our Technology Coordinator. Each class was able to begin and completely finish their project during the hour period. There were two objectives of the Compute - A - Thon. The first was to demonstrate to our teachers and classes that all classes are capable of integrating technology into the curriculum in producing student projects. The second was for each of our students to complete a project that could be placed on our school webpage. The projects followed broad themes. The themes are listed below:
Word Play * Puzzles * Nursery Rhymes * Imaginary World * Future World * Symmetry Pictures * Graphing * Mixed-Up Story * Shape Pictures * Hawaiian Dictionary * Hawaiian Color Words * Hawaiian Number Words
