How we made the diver was we made a round piece of white clay for the head. Also for the head we made two little balls of red clay for the eyes. On the head you see a mask. For that we rolled two pieces of clay and shaped them into the shape of a mask. For the upper body we used one big piece of red clay for the T-shirt. One of the problems was that at first we got too much clay so we took some off. After that we didn't have enough clay so we added a little bit to it. After that we just shaped it into the shape of a T-shirt. Another thing on your upper body is your arms. For the arms we just rolled some white clay and attached it to the body. For the lower body we just took one medium sized piece of clay and shaped it into the shape of the shape of shorts. A different thing on your body is your legs. For the legs we rolled two pieces of white clay and attached it to the body. Something different on your lower body is your feet. We covered the diver's feet with fins, so, for the fins we took two pieces of yellow clay and shaped them into the shape of fins.
For the fish we took one yellow piece of clay and made it into a circle. For the fins and the tail of the fish we just rolled pieces of blue and red clay and shaped them into the shape of fins and a tail. I made the eye out of one little piece of blue clay and made it round and attached it to the fish.
For the octopus we took one big piece of blue clay and rolled eight pieces of blue clay. The eight rolled pieces of clay are for the legs and the big piece of clay is for the body. The one big piece should be round. It was kind of hard to make all the legs the same size. I made the face the same way that I made the divers face except I made the eyes a different color than the divers.
The kind of clay that we used was Crayola Modeling.
The way that we thought of the idea was that we watched different peoples miniature movies and got ideas from them. At first we thought of a movie that had a guy that was snow boarding and broke his arm and bled all over and over time it healed. Then Mrs. Gilbert, the teacher, said that there couldn't be any blood in our movies. At that time we wanted a movie that was different than any other groups. After thinking for a few minutes I came up with an idea. Victoria, my partner, listened to my idea and we agreed that we would use it. The idea was the movie that you have seen.
