Activities:
*Create a working dictionary of terms and pictures of the term following the
teacher's model on the overhead. They will step by step draw out each term in
their motebooks and write the definition for that landform.
*In the computer lab each child will then take one landform and using Claris
works drawing program will draw and label one landform. This will then be
printed out.
*The class will then assemble all pages to form a class book to be used
for Open House night and new students who may come into the class.
Time line
This lesson will take three forty minute sessions each week for three weeks
to complete the basic dictionary work.
We will need one independent computer lab session to type in the definition
for each landform they draw in the drawing program.
We will need one 30 minute session for several students to assemble the book.
